Although there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease and no proven treatment to slow its progression, some issues can help. Some of them are:

   . Exercises

. Spending some time in natural environments

   . A balanced nutrition

   . Calm social interactions
There are two types of medicines approved by most of health regulatory agencies around the world that may help improve the mental function of Alzheimer's disease patients:

   . Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, and

   . Memantine

No drug has an indication for delaying or halting the progression of the disease.
