There is no cure for Sjögren's syndrome. The treatment of patients with Sjögren's syndrome is directed toward the particular areas of the body that are involved and complications, such as infection. For instance, moisture replacement therapies such as artificial tears may ease the symptoms of dry eyes.

For individuals with severe complications, corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs may be prescribed. Multiple monoclonal antibodies are currently under investigation.
